how do you stop fires in grand ages rome?

i recently got the game Grand Ages: Rome on the P.C. and i was wondering how do you stop buildings that are on fire?

By building prefectures, they will put out fires and also lower resources upkeep for nearby buildings. Also i noticed you asked a question about stopping crime so i will save you the time of having to post in both questions. Well for crime, all you have to do is make sure everyone needs are satisfied. Plebs need at least 30% food or they will riot. Equites Need 30% food & entertainment.
And Patricians need at least 30% food, entertainment, & religion. If there needs are not met they will begin to commit crimes and eventually riot.

One last note, to build prefectures you need to research the technology for it first before you can build any. Also if your buildings are on fire its just better to demolish them before the fire spreads because most of the time, the prefectures don't get there on time and before you know it your whole city will burn to ashes. Be sure to update your game and download the lastest patches.

Will it be possible to run Grand Ages:Rome WITHOUT a video card?

This may be a common problem with most people. You try to play the game and a message comes up saying you need a video card in order to play the game. Then it gives you a website where they say you can order a video card, but when you're on the site, there is no list. What should I do?

maybe you need to update your driver or just buy a better processing Video card. The dumb thing though, is that if you didn't even have a Video card your screen would be black. You need video in order see things.
