How to beat General Townes in Command & Conquer Generals using General Grainger?

I am currently playing Command & Conquer Generals conquest mode(or whatever it is called) and i am having trouble beating General Townes(he is the laser general) I am currently using General Grainger but since Townes uses the anti air laser humvees it makes it difficult to take him out.

well i have just been plyin tht actually the easiest way is to actually be the china nuke as you can use nuke trucks at long range to destroy the lasers

How do I add new maps to Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour?

I have Command & Command: The First Decade and want to add new maps to the Command & Conquer Generals: Zero Hour game. I can't seem to find a directory for maps. Where do I put the new map files?

Well there are two ways, by going into online play and play a unofficial map that you don't' have, it would download automatically. The other way i guess is to find your save files and there should be like a file that contains unofficial maps and files. Get the map and copy it to there. My information may be inaccurate because i didn't installed this game for 2 months because it gets boring. Get Command and Conquer 3 because it's much better than the First Decade and the price is dropping

i get this message "unable to establish a connection with command & conquer generals zero hour servers. please check your internet connection"
