Battlefield 2 ?

I got back into battlefield 2 awhile ago, so I installed my friends battlefield 2 onto my comp. But I didnt make it so I could play without the cd and I dont wanna make it so I can. I have my own cds but I lost the cd for them. Is it possible to get the cd key for my bf2 discs without the manual?

If you registered your game you may be able to retrieve the cd key by logging in to EA Support and clicking on My Games.

If i play the demo version of battlefield 2 and i rank up, will it count when i buy the real battlefield 2.

in the demo version there is no ranks, and only one map, that's why it is the demo..

but i wouldn't go out and buy the game.. they don't have any servers for it anymore.. i'm pissed!!

i own the game and have to play the friggin demo!

BattleField 2?

I have been having some issues with BattleField 2...
I went to click on a server, but it said my CD-key was invalid.

What does this mean???

You have a bad CD key.

There are 2 options to fix this:

1. Go to the support folder in C:/program Files/~~/Support
Click on the CD-Key icon. Enter your CD Key and this should work.

2. A harder approach but works better: Click Start, Go to Run, Type regedit and hit OK button, Click on plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, Click on plus sign next to SOFTWARE, Double click on Electronic Arts folder., Double click on EA Games folder, Double click on Battlefield 2 folder, Double click on ergc folder, Data displayed will probably have x9392 only if not delete everything but x9392, Right click on it and select Modify, Type in x9392 and then your CD key and don't include hyphens.

Example: x9392(your Battlefield 2 CD key here)

This should solve everything about the CD-Key.

Also check the Special Forces Folder in regedit in case that doesn't work either.

It means that the CD-Key, either on the back of the manual of the game, or inside the game box, isn't working. You should try to re-enter the CD-Key, making sure you don't make common mistakes (such as O and 0, or 5 and S).
