I have the combo pack Age of Empires and Expansion pack Warchiefs. What exactly is the expansion pack...can i still play without it. is the expansion pack a complete differnet game or just has new places for the regular game.
Is the asian dynasty expansion pack a good buy. should i get this expansion pack too. Also after i download the games to my computers can i give the cd to antoehr person so they can download the game or do you need the cd everytime you play????
You should just install Warchiefs onto your computer. Its a great expansion pack! it has 15 new levels. i think you need warchiefs disc to play.

Well i remember that the expansion packs were exactly that, it expands on what you have installed. You have to have AoE 3 installed to install the expansion packs.
And modren games are protected with internet registration, 1CD = 1CPU, but i can be messed around with if you know what you're doing, its not fool proof.
You can play without the expansion pack, odds are warchiefs is just more campains, maybe new civilisations, maps etc. Its just an add on from the original game, but yah it works perfectly fine without the expansion, just not the other way around. aaaaand i dont know about asian dynasty.
