What's wrong with my new Logitech G19 Keyboard?
Jan 12, 2010 by Pat | Posted in Add-ons
I just got a new gaming keyboard yesterday from Amazon.uk. I don't know what's the problem with it because I can't configure the keys for macros and the backlight colours are not appearing on the keyboard. I'm not sure whether this is a software or driver issue because I have Windows 7 on my pc. Maybe there is a fault with the keyboard. I have no idea how to make this keyboard work properly. If there is anyone who can direct me with this problem, that would be nice.
Go to the Logitech website and get the latest Windows 7 driver for it. All of the functions you named are driver issues, except (possibly) the colors. I would think that functionality would be within the keyboard itself.

What Games can be played on the G19 Logitech Keyboard?
Jul 29, 2009 by Tyler | Posted in Add-ons
I would like a full list or a link to a full list.
Well, before you chastise me you idiot had you known what you were talking about you would see this keyboard has a built in LCD screen to play minor arcade games, watch youtube, etc. Know what your talking about next time...
how does the keyboard have anything to do with this? if it is a pc game, all that is going to matter is stuff like how much memory you have, how fast your graphics card is, and what kind of processor you are working with. keyboard means absolutely nothing, as long as it has buttons, any game will work with it. its your computer itself that matters

Gaming Keyboard question?
Dec 22, 2009 by Geeky | Posted in Add-ons
I am new to the gaming and recently learnt that you can use macros to automate many tasks inside the game. I tried the AutoHotKey program and the it is unable to send the required keystrokes to the game even though it works perfectly well in other applications.
So my questions is if I buy a gaming keyboard say Logitech G19 would I face the same problem with its programmable keys.
Apparently this has something to do with some games accepting DirectInput. Could someone please explain what this is and would a gaming keyboard help in this situation.
yes.
the problem is with the program, not the keyboard.
i would suggest getting a gaming keyboard if you don't already have one, but avoid Logitech.
try RAZER, they do the fastest keyboards and mice ive ever seen.
