Falcon Joystick

Falcon Joystick Review

Simply put...unbelievable. I'm a hard core PC gamer, and I've been through my fair share of gaming mice. Control and precision are super important to me so that's why I bought the Falcon on a whim. It has since changed the way I play FPS games immensely. The realistic force feedback not only adds a new layer of depth and intensity into my games, but gives me more control over my in game movement. You can feel which direction the bullets are coming from, and the springy virtual walls allow you to spin around more quickly. No more picking up the mouse when you hit the edge of the desk. The only con about the Falcon is the realization that your mouse is now garbage.
P.S. I'm no doctor, but I have neck and shoulder pain from PC gaming, but since I got the Falcon, my pain is relieved.

Falcon Joystick Overview
The Novint Falcon is an entirely new type of game controller. Replacing your mouse or joystick, the Falcon is, essentially, a small robot that lets you experience true virtual touch unlike any controller in history. The Novint Falcon lets you control a game in three dimensions, and also lets you feel high-fidelity three-dimensional force feedback. The Falcon controller moves right and left, forwards and backwards, like a mouse, but also moves up and down. When you hold the Falcon's detachable Grip and move your cursor to interact with a virtual object, environment, or character, motors in the device turn on and are updated approximately 1000 times a second, letting...

what is the best joystick i can use for falcon 4.0 allied force?

i really want this flight sim but i dont want to unless i have one of those because its really annoying to have to memorize all the keyboard buttons please help

I use the Saitek X52 for Falcon 4.0 and other flight sims. I really enjoy using it and it has a lot, I mean A LOT, of buttons so you need never touch your keyboard again.

If you can afford it, the next step up is the HOTAS Cougar which is essentially a replica of the joystick and throttle used in the actual F-16. I have used it and it is well worth the extra expense though it it $100 more.

Wat would b a good peripheral for Falcon 4 allied force[flight sim], i only hav 360 controler at the moment ;)?

I mean just to control the game, not anything like um the TrackIR. Like a stick, controller, thats all.

I actually looked on amazon uk and game retailer site but couldnt find a section for what i wanted.

Could anyone make a suggestion for a good peripheral to play falcon 4.0 allied force with :D. Also a United Kingdom website to see this on also. If you only know a standard website [not United Kingdom i.e .com not co.uk] then ok.

Thank you and will look forward to reading the replies this post draws. thank you again.

n.b- I hear for flight sim games, a joystick sort of thing is great to play with on. Though i think there are some special particularly for flying joysticks. I just have no idea where to look into this more. Bb

Yes with flight sims it's usual to have both a joystick and throttle combo...with maybe foot pedals if you are really dedicated.
