Someone help me with gaming mouse problem?

I've been looking up gaming mouses on the internet and I've found three that I like so far.

---Logitech MX 518 Gaming-Grade Optical MouseWired
---Logitech G5 Laser Mouse (Blue/Black)
---Microsoft SideWinder Gaming Mouse

They're all about the same price but I want something good that will last. Does anyone have any personal experience with these designs?

I agree with above post but the best way Ive found to pick a mouse is to go to a physical store where they have some in stock and put your hand on them. I know this sounds weids but there's nothing worse than spending $$$ on a mouse and finding its too large or too small for your hand or that the buttons are stupidly placed. Any of these factors are guaranteed to wreck your gaming experience. There are quite a few stores that have mouse displays "out of the box" so you can go and try before you buy.

But either of those brands are _very_ good quality MS and Ltech are both excellent mouse manufacturers and you should have no problems with quality and durability either way. (A friend of mine has a logitech mouse [one of the first optical models] he has had for 10 years and used every day - its still working as well as the day he bought it)

a gaming mouse is overrated. any corded laser mouse is fine.

If you need extra precision, use the Logitech G5 (laser is always better), if you need a normal gaming mouse, use the MX 518.

Be careful with the battery though.

I assure you that Logitech products are made to last.
I still have a Logitech mouse that still works from like 15 years ago.

Worst gaming mouse ever!?

so this is a poll..
wich gaming mouse do you think sucks hard!
and then i mean really HARD

options:
1. Logitech G9 gaming mouse
2. Logitech G5 gaming mouse
3. Microsoft Sidewinder mouse.
4. Razer Deathadder
5. Razer Diamondback 3G
6. Creative Fatal1ty mouse.

For my oppinion i chose the G9. (sorry logitech) but its just a bad mouse. its way to small and its not comfortable with palm grip..
and since you can set the DPI with like 1000 different settings its just way too advanced..
becouse if you stop killing like you did (having a bad day) i mostly think like.. omg what happened to my mouse! and ime going to change dpi settings to a speed ime not used to..

Don't forget a reason why you think That mouse you chose sucks :)

Their gaming mouses? their all good, i use the G9 and I think its perfect, and their is only a few settings.

I don't recomend 10 years use it though, because well your reason. Maybe thats why you don't like them?

Don't make a question for the sake of being rude.

Razer are extremly good mouses, I use to own the CopperHead, and it was amazing.

Research these things, what are you 5?

All the razer mice you listed are terrible to me.

Bought a Razer Diamondback 3G for my claw grip, and, the sides being inwards as they are cramp my hand.

Also, instead of putting cheap coating on the top, put some on the side too.

Honestly, the cheap plastic basic mouses, those plastic bodies are quite good and the coating doesn't wear off cause there isn't any.

And you can't blame a mouse for being too small, they're all made for different hand grips. DB 3G is fine using finger grip, I use finger grip in desktop and MMORPG use, but for FPS I use claw.

I'll be opting for a smaller mouse, soon, so my whole hand can comfortably claw grip it.
