Looking for an out of print strategy guide for Myst Uru Complete Chronicles?

I have tried asking at Borders and Barnes and Noble with no luck. I searched Amazon but all they had were used copies. I also looked at Ebay but they just had the guide to just Uru and didn't include The Path of the Shell and To Dn'i. Does anyone know where I could find a new copy of this book? Are there any websites that cater to older books?

You probably won't find a new copy. The game is about 7 years old now. What's wrong with used? It accomplishes the same task. More likely than not, it is new, but preowned, and unless you were told it was used, you'd never know. Or, you could go to gamespot and print out a walkthrough/FAQ for absolutely nothing. (other than the cost of ink for your printer)

From those who are more familiar with the game...is there any particular order you should play it in or can you start anywhere?

I am not entirely familiar with it, but I do know that there is no specific order. As I understand it, you are searching for journey cloths. Just get them all, I don't think order matters in this case.

you can start playing anywhere. Just like any other Myst game, it doesn't bind you to have a specific or fixed path. You can solve its parts (Ages) in the order you prefer. It is designed to support you as an Explorer of worlds, so you can explore wherever you want, with your speed, times and curiosity, and then find your way to the end.

PC game playes. help??? what's the difference between "Uru:Ages Beyond Myst" and "Uru: Complete Chronicles"?

i'm kinda confused. beyond myst is the official game and for what it seems complete chronicles is as well but with 2 expansion, but if that's true then how come the one with the expansions cost way less than uru beyond myst? help, which one should i get?

I don't know why the Complete Chronicles is cheaper, but that's the one you probably want. URU: Complete Chronicles not only contains Ages Beyond Myst, but also the Path of the Shell and To D'ni expansion packs.
