Is metal gear solid on the ps1 any good or worth the money or should I get bionic commando rearmed instead?

I was thinking of getting metal gear solid is it worth it or should I get bionic commando rearmed
Get them both.
They're both great games. Metal gear Solid is one of the great classic games from the Playstation era.
Bionic Commando: Rearmed is the perfect example of what can happen when game developers recreate a classic without destroying it. It is a perfect update, and worth every penny.

dnt get metal gear solid, terrible grafics and when you die which is quick u go str8 back to the start of he level even if u r almost finished :(

Since the Metal Gear Solid Sony put for sale at the Playstation Store is the original PSX game, then ofcourse it has terrible graphics! It was released more than 10 years ago!

Braid is pretty much a Mario rip-off and costs 400 more points, but everyone says how amazing it is. Maybe I didn't like it because I only played the demo?
Bionic Commando Rearmed was pretty fun, but looks like it would get frustrating after a while. But I would still have enough points left to get another game if I got this.
Get Castle Crashers. Hours upon hours of entertaining gameplay, and loads of secrets.

The game is not a Mario rip-off...its a homage to mario. Let alone its nothing like mario at all...no enemies and no tunnels to go down..again a homage to Mario. Also BCR was not that great but Braid was and is well worth the money.

about how many hours does it last?
I'll definitltly be getting it eventually but theres another game i also want but could only get one at the time so i want to know how long does it last?
It's not very long. Maybe 3-4 hours (more for the harder difficulties). It is really fun, though, and has a lot of replay value. I have been playing it for a really long time and have yet to find every power up and hidden item. Trophies are being added in the future which should add even more replay value.
The four player multiplayer is awesome too. I just had a few friends over and we wasted like 2 hours on it. Not a lot of games have that kind of multiplayer anymore.
