Axis and Allies Video (And WWII Campaigns)

This was one of my favorite games back in the day, circa 1998. Watching it, I want to run a WWII Commando/Special Forces campaign:



Of course, if you're going to run a World War II game, there's a lot to consider. It's not a time that was particularly enjoyable for the people who lived through it, and as much as I love history, I don't know that I can remove myself enough from the realities of it all to run a game in it. That might be a little heavy for me. Pulping it into something like "Inglourious Basterds" doesn't feel quite right, either.

where can i get answers about map maken for axis and allies pc version? such as placing citys and triggers?

My brothers and I are playing Axis & Allies over Spring Break, and we got into an argument about what they are for. Are they for what number you have to roll, or are they for how many dice you roll? We can't find it in the rule book, so if you could please include the page number you found it on, if possible.

The numbers on the reference chart are the target numbers needed to score a hit with a single die. A hit is scored if you roll equal to or less than the target number on a singal die. For example a tank attacks at three or less. You can roll groups of like units together. Five infantry rolls five dice and get 2,4,5,1 so two hits are scored.
